Job Posting for Expert Witness Legal Coordinator
NATURE OF DUTIES:
The job consists of answering calls and email leads from attorneys and insurance companies for expert witnesses which the company has relationships with. You will be coordinating all administrative tasks involved in providing requested expert witness work to the attorney/insurance company. This includes things like sending out the rate sheet and CV via email for the requested expert. Emailing invoices, and then scheduling work with the requested expert once payment is received. Gathering reports from experts to send to the appropriate attorney/insurance company.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Communicates with attorneys or third parties on case details.
- Communicates with experts to confirm no conflict and willingness to take the case.
- Coordinate expert’s CV, fee schedule, location, and turnaround time.
- Handle all invoicing, gathering of records/reports, meet deadlines.
- Coordinates and schedules attorney conferences, record reviews, depositions, video dispositions, and trials.
- Coordinates and schedules Independent Medical Exams and Second Medical Opinions for physicians.
- Communicates with attorneys on subpoenas.
- Ensures the collection of all legal funds, prior to delivery of services.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals.
- Enter all cases into the system and keep track of all correspondence.

· High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
· Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)

· Six week assignment. Start date flexible but early June
· Perfect for summer work for a teacher
